A Kinning Park roastery with a rotating selection of coffee, as well as coffee equipment, subscriptions, and beans to take home.

The 2019/20 edition of The List's Eating & Drinking Guide is out now – only £5.95 (+p&p).
You couldn’t think of a more unusual setting for an on-trend, third wave coffee roastery. Then again, GCC deals with post-industrial chic in spades; exposed brickwork, filament light bulbs, chipboard, and a Probat roaster bring the capacious space to life. There’s an open and inviting atmosphere here, with people wandering in for takeaways with dogs, popping in for an espresso at the bar, or having a filter with friends. Coffee is roasted in house using responsibly sourced green beans, and if you get some to take home, they come in reusable packaging so you’ll get a discount when you bring it back. There’s normally two roasts to choose from: an espresso and a batch-brew option. Roast profiles tend towards the lighter side, so expect an interesting, flavoursome cup, or a silky smooth flat white if that’s your thing. There’s normally some tasty treats from local bakers, and pop-ups some weekends. Proper coffee has arrived in Kinning Park.
