The 2018 edition of The List's Eating & Drinking Guide is out now – only £7.95 (+p&p).

This a very good value spot for excellent Japanese bento sets, ramen soup, chicken katsu rice and beautifully presented sushi rolls. The crazy salmon roll is one of their most popular orders – generous slices of spicy salmon, avocado, asparagus and cucumber sprinkled with tempura flakes and a drizzle of mayo. Very occasionally the odd piece of sushi is just a bit under par but helpful staff will quickly sort out anything you're less than happy with. The tea cups and teapots are beautiful if you’d rather sip green tea than beer (but they do have Sapporo, Asahi or Kirin, as well as a small selection of wine and sake and a BYOB option). The room is smart and modern, with wooden pallets and leather banquettes making back to back bench-booths under blonde wood tables with shiny, industrial steel legs. Open every day, they do delivery too which is worth remembering if you’re a sushi addict in search of a fix.
