The Old Abbey Taphouse is STEAM-focused community hub and event space, with a kitchen and on-site brewery. With ethics always at the forefront of their endeavours, the Taphouse is also a social enterprise and runs art, music, welbeing and STEAM projects. The pub sells food and drink, and hosts events, while upstairs, there is a rehearsal room and recording studio. The next step is The Urban Farm Lab project, a a kitchen garden with an outdoor seating and stage area, which should hopefully grow into further projects.
The Old Abbey Taphouse is in the centre of Manchester's Science Park, just two minutes from the University of Manchester. There is a number 85 bus stop round the corner and links to all bus routes on Oxford Road are just a few minutes away.
