The Mill Café
The main visitor-centre tearoom within the New Lanark Visitor Centre, serving snacks, drinks, light lunches and family oriented options. New Lanark ice-cream available in the tearoom or from a kiosk outside.
The Mill Café is one of three on-site eating options in the New Lanark Visitor Centre. While the Mill One restaurant is only open from 5pm, the café offers breakfast, light lunches, coffee, cake and their signature homemade ice-cream. Their Simply Vanilla won gold at the Royal Highland Show in 2015 and they experiment with other flavour combinations such as Jammy Dodger and Puff Candy. All ice cream sales go towards restoring and developing the World Heritage site, so pop in for a scoop or take a tub of your favourite home.
