After three years of travelling and indulging in the street food offerings, Chef Callum McDougall and Mel Duncan started up Crema Caravan. Using a few basic ingredients; cream, sugar, eggs and vanilla, they sell their crunchy custardy Creme Brûlées at a range of markets and events from their retro truck, Florence.
The Crema Caravan is the UK’s first crème brûlée van. Since 2014 they’ve been bringing 'Burnt to Order' Crème Brûlées to the streets in their lovingly converted vintage Renaults, Florence and Percy.
Owners Cal and Mel found themselves inspired by street food whilst travelling and working abroad. Upon returning to the UK, and seeing a lack of street food desserts, they put their marketing and chef skills together and The Crema Caravan was born.
These British Street Food 'Best Dessert' award winners serve up a truly craft product; They take great pride and care baking each and every crème brûlée using the freshest cream, free range eggs and the finest quality vanilla beans.
Serving up an ever-changing menu of flavours and homemade toppings; from the classic Madagascan Vanilla to Tonka Bean and Hazelnut Praline or the popular Salted Caramel. This dessert truck is not to be missed!
