Cuckoo's Bakery

Opened in April 2015, this is a second branch of the specialist cupcake bakery originally set up in 2011 at the foot of Dundas Street in Edinburgh. The new branch will, in addition to offering a range of cupcakes, specialise in layer cakes, with a 1950s-style coffee machine adding to the retro feel of the small café area at the back of the shop. For the second year running, the bakery has scooped the ‘Best Cake in Scotland’ award at the Scottish Baker of the Year Awards for their raspberry and white chocolate cupcake.

Eating & Drinking Guide

The 2016 edition of The List's Eating & Drinking Guide is out now – only £5.95 (+p&p).

This review is taken from the current (2016) edition.
