Big Red Barn
This contemporary renovated barn in the heart of the countryside north-east of Biggar offers a warm and friendly welcome from Vanessa and Rob Starling and their team. The food is fresh and locally sourced, to eat in or take away, with combos such as pulled ham and Dunsyre Kebbuck paninis, roasted tomato tagliatelle with Errington cheese, or croissants with roasted peppers, leeks and Lanark Blue typical. The gift shop has an eclectic and quirky range of Scottish gifts including their own chutneys, jams and biscuits and a selection of Edinburgh Gin. The Big Red Barn sits in 80 acres of its own woodland and is a popular stop for walkers and cyclists. With designated walks it's an ideal spot for young families looking to explore and connect with nature.
