Launched in 2007 as a roadside honesty box outlet for selling their horse feed carrots and broken turnips, What’s For Tea Tonight? is now a bona fide farm shop based at Burn of Balmakelly Farm near Laurencekirk. Not only do they sell their own vegetables, but they’re also supportive of other local producers, providing an outlet for meat, dairy, eggs, fruit and more from the surrounding area.
What's for tea tonight? Farm Shop sells: Farm direct meat of: Pork, Buffalo, Beef, Lamb, Mutton and Venison; own and local seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables; various dairy produce of a wide selection of cheeses, ice cream, cream, butter and milk;local homemade cooked produce, bakery goods and preserves. Seasonal fresh produce of:meat, dairy, fresh fruit & veg.and homemade produce with recipes and menu plans are tailored to your taste, health needs and budget to order and collect. Gluten and dairy free, vegetarians and vegans. We offer events by appointment free field visit to pick own peas or choose own pumpkins.
