The second branch from Iain Burnett, the 'Highland Chocolatier', opened in spring 2014. It sells the full range of chocolates and incorporates a 'chocolate espresso bar', where you can buy a Hot Velvet chocolate shot to drink in (possibly - bar stools are limited) or to take away. Distinctive and beautifully printed, Burnett is best known for his trademarked multi-award-winning Velvet Truffles, and smartly packaged boxes are filled with truffles in flavours including caramelised white chocolate with liquorice, or nutty, fruity and spiced pralines. The huge range covers everything from whole clementines enrobed in chocolate to glossy flavoured or single origin bars, as well as a wide range of pralines developed to pair with fine tea, champagne and whiskies. The original shop, cafe and visitor centre in Grandtully is packed with chocolatey exploration, from an exhibition of Burnett's spectacular chocolate centrepieces to tours and tastings.
