The Fishermen's Mutual Association (Pittenweem) Limited is a co-operative, formed in 1948 to supply shellfish to Scottish processors and packers under the Kingdom Seafood brand. The primary role of the Association is the marketing and logistics required to sell the various species of fish and shellfish caught by its members within the Firth of Forth and North Sea. The Association expresses the views of East Neuk based fishermen's bodies to promote the fishing industry of the Firth of Forth. Kingdom Seafood promotes the sale of the fresh fish landed in the picturesque fishing village of Pittenweem. Fresh shellfish can be purchased daily, direct from Pittenweem fish market, and delivered to your door - order the day before collection. The company can provide certificates of authentication for seafood, showing the area the fish was caught; the date the fish was landed; the vessel that caught the fish and even, if you want, the name of the skipper. Langoustine and salmon are presently available for ordering by phone, including fresh or lightly smoked salmon in micro dishes, with sauces or coatings. Smoked salmon is available in sides or sliced, and any of the fully smoked products can be supplied laced with spirits or liqueurs of your choice, i.e. whisky, dark rum or Cointreau.
