C Fayre is a traditional family fishmongers where owner John Watson has been greeting the regulars by name since 1987. The fish counter is well stocked with haddock (dyed and undyed, whole and fillets) plus smoked salmon and trout paté. The large pile of Arbroath smokies is particularly appealing, and it's worth noting that the haddock is hand filleted on the premises daily. In addition, a large chiller is packed with local poultry, some of which is roasted on-site.
