Alasdair McFarlane is the fifth generation of his family to be in charge at this traditional and friendly family butcher which has been supplying the local area, including hotels and restaurants, since 1903. Quality Scotch beef, pork and lamb are sourced from local markets and Alasdair makes his own steak pies and sausages. He also makes a selection of oven-ready meals. Customers from Stewarton and beyond come to buy their own sausages and rump steaks. All their steaks are dry-aged using Himalayan salt and they have their own in-store bakery that bakes traditional Scotch pies as well as specials like black pudding, Brie and caramelised onion.
