Formed in the 1960s by Iain and Bob Bannerman, this family business remains independent. Bannerman are a seafood processor, exporting to France, Spain, Greece and the USA, as well as importing Spanish tapas products for sale to trade and private customers. Their main business is processing shellfish products, mainly scampi, which is sold breaded or cooked and peeled. They also provide breaded, smoked or plain haddock fillets; smoked or filleted salmon, and king and queen scallops. Bannerman also sell their own highly-rated brand of tartare sauce, developed by another family member, Roxanne; it's sold from various outlets under the Roxy's imprint.
