Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd is the UK arm of Coca-Coca Enterprises Inc, the Western European bottling operation of the global soft drink giant. The Coca-Cola Company pioneered a franchise system whereby the Company itself only produces the soft drink syrup concentrate, which is then supplied to franchisees around the world, who create the drink by combining the syrup with carbonated water and sweeteners. The Scotland region office in East Kilbride is the local bottler and distributor of the ubiquitous range, and also offers a vending machine service to retail outlets, shopping centres, stadiums, music venues, educational institutions, offices, sports centres and other places.
