Not open to the public.
Best known as manufacturers of rust-coloured fizzy drink Irn-Bru, AG Barr produce vast quantities of this and other still and sparkling soft drinks out of a large factory near Cumbernauld.
AG Barr are a nationally prominent business, founded in 1875 and with strong roots in Scotland and the north of England. Their portfolio includes Strathmore water, Bundaberg Ginger Beer and Tizer. Most famously, of course they make Irn-Bru. The head office and factory aren't open to the public, but every year they participate in Lanarkshire’s ‘Doors Open Days’ scheme and welcome 300 or so civilians in to see where the magic happens.
