Originally founded by Bob Morton and Jim Clarke in 1965 at their bakery in Anniesland, on the west side of Glasgow, Morton's Rolls now make confectionery, cakes and morning goods including soda and potato scones, with the traditional crispy morning roll remaining the company’s flagship product. Morton’s traditional crispy rolls are batch fermented for over four hours to build flavour. The rolls are then hand cut and allowed to prove up before being baked.
