After years at the helm of both the Isle of Skye Chocolate and the Isle of Skye Fudge Companies, Carole Inglis passed the chocolate reins to new owner Angus MacRuary (long-time owner/manager of Isle of Skype Brewing) in April 2015 to focus on fudge. Working at the north end of Skye in the shadow of the Black Cuillin ridge, Angus and his wife Pam are starting to make new introductions to the chocolate range, a familiar sight on shelves around Skye and Lochalsh. Real double cream ganache truffles are hand-made with flavours including local Praban na Linne whiskies, Skye ales, natural fruit pastes, Isle of Skye Sea Salt or Scottish heather honey. No artificial colourings or flavourings enter these or their chocolate bars, pearls and solid 'slabs', decorated with toppings including fudge, berries, toffee and sea salt.
