Kaye Towrie started making truffles and fudge on maternity leave in 2011, and has continued part-time ever since while also running the Belsair Hotel in Sanday with her husband. Truffles come in dark mint or coffee, orange, coconut and plain milk, white or dark chocolate. Her most popular product is Highland Park whisky fudge, sold alongside plain, milk and white chocolate flavours – new chocolates and fudges are introduced when she gets time to experiment, and have included brandy-soaked raisin and cranberry dark fudge, milk chocolate caramels, and fruit and nut bars in milk and dark chocolate. Buy them directly at Sanday's seasonal fairs (spring, Christmas and the autumn agricultural show), from the Belsair, or give her a call to order a custom batch.
