The Royal Oak Fishguard
Recently acquired by Alf and Gary, local business associates based in Pembrokeshire who have their hearts set on driving the business forward to continue its success of their predecessors. The pub still has the original table which the surrender was signed on, as well as interesting items on the wall from the French invasion of 1797.
Our kitchen is open daily offering a menu that can be described simply as 'British food cooked to perfection'. Tracey selects the best seasonal produce, sourced locally whenever possible. She instinctively knows how to mix ingredients to enhance rather than disguise the flavour of the dish. The result – deliciously tasty food; we defy you not to scrape the plate.
The interior of The Royal Oak is homely and nostalgic – in keeping with the pub's many years.
Under the managements steady guidance the service is friendly, courteous and non-intrusive. Even at the busiest of times there is a calm about the place that just makes you want to stay.
