Set up by Iain Hansen in 2011, this community-minded deli and café feels like the food-lovers' epicentre of Comrie and its surrounds. It is well used by locals and visitors for stocking up on groceries, deli produce or freshly prepared food to take home or enjoy at one of the window seats or handful of tables. The wide ranging offerings include various breads made daily in store, home-made soups, sandwiches, salads, ready meals, pies, quiches and pastries (including an impressive black pudding and apple sausage roll) as well as cakes and bakes, plus various deli meats and cheeses. Local produce includes Dalchonzie Fruit Farm preserves, Perthshire oatcakes, Summer Harvest oils and Stewart Tower Dairy ice-cream, while a good range of beers and ciders include nearby brewers Strathbraan, Inveralmond and Cairn o' Mohr – whose drinks can be sampled at the various tasting events organised by Hansen. It is also the home of sister company Highland Coffees, with the beans roasted and sold in store as well as other outlets in the area.
