The Steayban is a popular spot in the quiet country setting of Glassford near Strathaven. It’s a lovingly run affair that allows Scottish and French influences to play out, with a firm nod to the best local and seasonal produce available, with rich, big tastes dominating. Think haunch of Perthshire venison in a port wine jus, or a perhaps a big steaming pot of bouillabaisse. Comforting classics like chicken Balmoral are typically present too, with regularly changing market menus and promotions as well.
