A family friendly restaurant serving up rustic Italian food.
A partnership between Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, Jamie's Italian has won thousands of fans for its delicious and affordable food since launching their first restaurant in Oxford in May 2008. The Jamie's Italian menu is based on dishes you'd find people eating all over Italy, made with care but delivered without fuss.
The family-friendly restaurants are all about serving up rustic, Italian food made using the best possible ingredients, plus fresh pasta that’s made on-site every day, and an award-winning children's menu, too.
Jamie's Italian Portsmouth is a nautical-styled restaurant that's complete with a stunning reclaimed mosaic floor, old shipyard winches, and a décor of beautiful historic maritime relics, all with traditional Italian ambiance. The restaurant, in the heart of Gunwharf Quays, serves beautiful Italian dishes with a Jamie twist, fine Italian coffees and also boasts a lovely deli shop stocking some of the exclusive products used in the dishes.
The restaurant is ideally located for shoppers, day trippers or local residents looking for fantastic food. It's warm and cosy in the winter and when the sun comes out, the pretty outside area is a great spot to sit and watch the world go by.
