Established in 2005 by two of Scotland's most experienced brewers, Russell Sharp (Caledonian Brewery saviour, inventor of Deuchars IPA and Innis & Gunn co-founder, with his sons Dougal and Neil Sharp) and Alastair Mowat (longtime senior exec at Scottish & Newcastle). Beers are brewed under contract at Belhaven Brewery, and the stated aim is to introduce fresh, innovative products to the market. Edinburgh Pale Ale (3.4%) is their flagship beer, brewed in collaboration with Broughton Ales.
