We Hae Meat/Cairnhill Farms

A single farm with two meat brands, We Hae Meat sells to retail shops, and Cairnhill Farms to catering and food-service (cairnhillfarms.com). The whole business is a meat supplier as well as having a four generation history of rearing cattle on the family farm, with the butchery division of the business launched in 2007. Now the company supplies beef, hung for a minimum of two weeks; free range pork; grass-fed lamb from the South West of Scotland; free range poultry and wild game, and make sausages, burgers, haggis, puddings and cooked meats on-site. Customers including restaurants, tea rooms, snack shops and hotels are delivered to six days a week from refrigerated vans. We Hae Meat can be bought from their Girvan shop or online, from nearby farm shop Dowhill Country Fayre, or from stockists UK-wide.
Located in the Girvan valley, this producer rears beef herds on the fourth generation family farm. After diversification in 2007, the business now also sells meat to the retail and catering industry across Scotland. The family’s farming expertise means that there is an in-depth understanding and skill in the rearing and production of high quality meat - beef is matured slowly, for a minimum of three weeks which ensures a fuller flavour and extra tenderness. Free range pork, grass-fed lamb and wild game are also sold, while sausages, award winning burgers, haggis and puddings are made on site.
