Speyside Craft Brewery
After a degree in chemistry, Seb Jones made the easily understandable decision to eschew a career in the oil industry to concentrate on improving his dad’s ‘dreadful’ home brewing. Eighteen months of development later, he made the results official and professional in November 2012, launching the Speyside Craft Brewery. His inaugural beers chimed with his chosen name to emphasise the brewery’s location: Randolph’s Leap Lager (4.9%) is named after a spot on the nearby River Findhorn, and Moray IPA (5.5%) needs no further explanation. The next in line is Bottlenose Bitter (4.1%), every sale of which will see a donation paid to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.
