With access to around 900 wines, 50 gins, 80 rums and as many whiskies as a sister business named Royal Mile Whiskies would imply, Drinkmonger are almost guaranteed to be able to get their hands on whatever you’re looking for. Edinburgh’s store is the big sister to Pitlochry’s, with both specialising in Havana cigars as well as alcohol – there might be a more limited wine range in the Perthshire outpost, but they apparently have the largest walk-in humidor in the Highlands. Beer’s another strong point, with the choice of a couple of hundred, split roughly half and half between Scottish vs everywhere else. Unusually, both shops also have wee libraries of books on booze.
