The Glenview Restaurant with Rooms
Originally built as a home and shop, Glenview now has five guest rooms and a restaurant open to non-residents (it's small, so booking is advised). Food shows a commitment to local ingredients, from the organic Skye bacon, homemade muesli, bread and jams at breakfast to set dinner menus, which could include free range Highland chicken, hand-dived Sconser scallops or Kilmuir Hebridean lamb. Seafood features prominently, as might be expected from its location on the north-eastern tip of Skye. Sensibly, they offer early morning breakfasts for residents hopping across the island for the Uig ferry.
