In 2003, Tanny Gill came from Mumbai on a working holiday to the Isle of Mull Cheese company. This saw him leave his job on The Times of India newspaper to move to the island, where he spent the next four years making their famous cheddar. He now looks after the cheese side of things for Clarks Speciality Foods, as well as roaming farmers' markets in Edinburgh and Glasgow with his Scottish artisan cheese stall, using his contacts with producers to source hot-off-the-press new fromage. To top off the portfolio, he also offers to source hard-to-find cheeses for you, as well as offering advice and guidance on shopping for it yourself.
