A brand new start-up for 2012, Spey Valley is a craft nano-brewery with a range of five cask-conditioned real ales. They’re produced around brewer David MacDonald’s full-time job making Speyside’s more famous tipple, whisky. Spey Stout is the big brother to Baby Spey, at 5.4 abv and 4.2 abv respectively. Both are subtly bitter, sweet chocolate stouts. Royston’s Hoppy Handful is a traditional English summer ale, the lighter step up from David’s Not So Bitter brown ale. Stefan's Blueberry Beauty is an unusual mix of blueberries and lavender on the nose, superceded by honey and hops on the palate.
