Set in a building which dates back to the 1600s, the Old Brewhouse is a boutique hotel located on the water in Arbroath, with views of the marina and the North Sea. The bar is popular with locals and guests, while the menu is filled with Scottish classics and twists on typical Scottish ingredients. Starters include a pot of bacon and Arbroath smokies baked with cheddar cheese, or a ‘seafarer’s stack’ of black pudding, haggis and poached egg. The main menu includes a seafood platter and traditional Arbroath smokies served in butter with chips or potatoes.
