D Spink and Sons Fishmerchants
Housed in purpose-built premises – complete with distinctive ‘smokie’ iron railings – at the back of the family residence, this fish shop includes a closed-off area at the rear where the filleting and smoking takes place. Traditional smokies, prepared over beech shavings and to a secret recipe known only to Derek and his two sons, are available along with a range of fresh and smoked haddock, smoked salmon and shellfish. A second branch in Broughty Ferry, Ferry Fish, opened in 2013.
