The dining wing of the Seamill Hydro hotel, the Orangery is a well-regarded fine dining restaurant both locally and further afield, and one which makes a distinctive feature of its al fresco dining terrace overlooking the Firth of Clyde, affording great views of the water and the Isle of Arran. Its high quality service begins in the morning, with a selection of brunches featuring croquet monsieur et madame, eggs Benedict and poached haddock and eggs, and continues with an extensive lunch and dinner selection. Pasta dishes and pizzas are a feature at lunch, as well as a slimmed-down version of the dinner menu, which is strong on fish and field choices. Moules frites, roasted sea bream, a starter cocktail of North Atlantic prawns and langoustines all appear alongside steaks and a duo of confit and roasted duck breast, for example, while three-course Sunday lunch (£18.95) and daily afternoon tea (£6.95) is also available.

Set within Seamill Hydro, the Orangery restaurant has stunning views of over 100 square miles of the Ayrshire coastline. The brand new restaurant feature a varied menu and great selection of seafood.
