The Ochil Fudge Pantry
Not open to the public.
Friends Susan Fleming and Angie Craven began working on their fudge recipes as a hobby in 2010, before giving up their jobs to become full-time 'fudgetiers'. They now make traditional tablet - worthy of the name for being made to Susan's grandmother's 100 year old recipe - 20 types of fudge; puff candy and potato-based macaroon bars. These are sold at farmers' markets, delis all over Scotland, and sent as far afield as Australia via the online shop. Many of the sweets are gluten-free, and they're all made with simple, store-cupboard ingredients. The signature product is the Scottish Tablet, made according to a secret family recipe, but the company also makes fudge in a variety of flavours, and supply macaroon bars.
