Fisher & Donaldson
Retail/café branch of the much-loved traditional bakery and chocolatiers, supplied by the Ceres Road factory in Cupar.
One of three Dundee branches of this family bakers. Fisher & Donaldson started life in 1919 and over five generations has established outlets across Dundee and Fife, with its main production bakery in Cupar. They produce a large range of traditional Scottish baking combined with French patisserie classics and chocolates. Although most famous for their fudge doughnuts, Dundee classics like sair heids (so called because of their resemblance to a bandaged head) and yum yums are well worth trying. In Dundee they have this branch on the Perth Road, one in the city centre (where there’s also a bustling café), and a branch just off the Coupar Angus road on High Street.
