This second venture in the town for Yannick and Shari Grospellier, after Yann's at Glenearn House, offers a more casual, but no less impressive spot for high-quality food throughout the day. Dark tones, ornate furnishings and soft lights give this 'salon de thé' a unique, indulgent flavour. Add in a cosy seat or two among the bistro chairs, warm service, and it's an enticing mix, conducive to lazy lunches and relaxed dinners. The diligent kitchen offers impressive all-day dining, from simple breakfasts such as filled croissants, to lunches including sandwiches and various burgers on wooden boards with fries in cute mini fryer baskets, then a mid-afternoon cake focus before the dinner menu. There's a global spread to the food, including fajitas, stir-frys and gnocchi, with communal encouragement from sharing platters and evening tapas dishes. French dishes include Alsatian tarte flambée, an enjoyable pizza-style speciality, with a crispy base and topping of fromage blanc and crème fraîche. Desserts, ranging from cheesecake and banoffee pie to delightful petits fours and crème brûlée, are justification enough for a visit.
The Lounge at Crieff offers a varied range of dishes catering to all tastes, with fresh culinary ideas appropriate to the season.
Our lunchtime menu and evening menu meet the highest demands for both classic dishes and innovative ideas, offering a large variety of choice so that everyone will be thoroughly satisfied when they dine at our restaurant. We also offer a large range of seasonal dishes from our specials menu, cooked from prime local produce.
We look forward to seeing you at The Lounge soon.
