The Old Bell Hotel
Built in 1220, the Old Bell Hotel is reputed to be the oldest purpose built hotel in England. The Hotel is still offering quintessentially English Warmth, comfort and hospitality nearly eight hundred years later. Standing alongside Malmesburys Medieval Abbey, the hotel provides outstanding levels of service and retains the ambience of a bygone age.
The elegance of the restaurant and bar perfectly compliment the cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Tom Rains. Tom trained in London at Claridges and later with Anton Mosimann, before moving back home to the Cotswolds. The menu reflects his classical training which allows the individual flavours to be apparent but to compliment each other, resulting in a blend of classic and modern combinations.
The Old Bell is located on the edge of the Cotswolds. As soon as you arrive, every effort is made to ensure your comfort and well-being.
