Head Chef Jamie King began his cooking career at Harvey Nichols's Vth Floor Resteraunt, Knightsbridge under acclaimed chef Henry Harris, where he rose to became Sous Chef. Jamies next move was to Oxford, as the opening Head Chef of Branca, in December 2000. The Kings then took the opportunity of a country pub, The Star Inn at Sulgrave near Banbury. Here they gained recongniton in several guides and a star from Egon Ronay. Following this enjoyable and successful tenure, they approached Wadworth with their plan and vision for The Anchor!
