Although the name Puddledub may be associated with the buffalo farming business of his nephew further down the road, Tom Mitchell and his wife Camilla’s renown as pork farmers hasn’t been eclipsed. Over four generations and 300 years the Mitchells have farmed the area, and Clentrie Farm’s produce – including gammon, bacon, pies and sausages – is produced from barley-fed pigs who are treated humanely throughout their lives, as traditional farming methods would expect. The business also extends to hog roast catering and a busy farmers' market presence.
