Highland Wholefoods is a workers co-operative situated in the city of Inverness. Founded in 1989, it has a total of 10 workers, who wholly own the company. A wholesale cash & carry and distributor to the Highlands, Islands and north-east of Scotland, Highland Wholefoods specialise in natural and organic food and drink. The product range includes organic, vegetarian, Fairtrade, ethical and environmentally friendly, vegan, GM-free, dairy-free, wheat-free and gluten-free products, and they have a showroom available to visit. Highland Wholefoods also run Jacksons Wholefoods in Portree.
