Using the only brand of oatmeal guaranteed to be Scottish from seed to mill to finished product, Perthshire Oatcakes (known until recently as the Handmade Oatcake Company) now produce nine varieties. These take in the traditional to more adventurous flavours such as sun-dried tomato, chilli or ginger. The oatcakes are made using Perthshire spring water, in a converted dairy shed on the family farm.
Handmade Oatcakes - number of varieties including Traditional, Sweet, Cracked Black Pepper, Thin and Crispy, Cocktail. Winners of Gold Great Taste Awards 2006 & 2007, and 2-Star Gold in 2008. Farmers market stall: Perth (1st Sat); plus various major trade / retail shows throughout year
