Wynford is a family farm formed in 2002, and granted full organic status in 2005. The farm has a pure-bred, pedigree, Aberdeen Angus suckler herd of cattle, and beef is hung for 3-4 weeks before being butchered and packed. Cattle are traditionally reared, home-grown and grass-fed, with oats and peas in winter. Wynford work to the highest animal welfare standards, keeping calves are with the cows for about a year, and using no chemicals on grassland.
