Speyside Organics' main products are organic beef and organic lamb, with some other organic meats available occasionally. All cattle and sheep are born, reared and finished on the farm, ensuring meat is fully traceable from field to plate. In the winter the cattle are fed on silage, haylage and barley (all produced on the farm) - the only feed bought in is organic seaweed meal as a mineral supplement. The cattle are allowed to mature naturally to give good marbling, texture and taste, and are always over two years old when taken to the abattoir at Grantown-on-Spey. The Speyside Organics flock of sheep graze the same land as the cattle, and are naturally fattened on grass, with some forage rapeseed and turnips later in the year.
