Softer than the traditional chewy stuff which pulls teeth, Hebridean Toffee is a luxury tablet made entirely by hand on the Isle of Barra, by Gerry & Karen Porter - they're the only manufacturing business on the little island. No automation is used in either the cooking or packaging process and the tablet contains no additives, preservatives or colourings. Situated in Castlebay and overlooking Kisimul Castle, visit the gift shop and take home a devilishly good sticky toffee pudding, or something special from a range of local arts and crafts.
