Seriously Good Venison
Not open to the public.
Fletchers of Auchtermuchty was rebranded as Seriously Good Venison in spring 2012 after a change in ownership following the decision of John and Nichola Fletcher to step back from the day-to-day running of the business. Vikki Banks, who was their manager, bought the business, and the operational base and artisan butchery has moved from Reediehill Farm to premises at Jamesfield Farm in Abernethy, but the business still specialises in farmed venison from Reediehill which is largely grass-fed, has been naturally hung and is free of all additives and preservatives. Seriously Good attends a number of farmers' markets including Edinburgh, Perth and those in Fife, with their products also available at Jamesfield and online. In January 2012 Banks took over Highland Drovers cutting plant in Perth, rebranding it as Seriously Good Butchery and offering bespoke butchery.
