All types of farmhouse, artisan and speciality cheese can be found stacked high in the shop, from Isle of Mull cheddar to the Prima Dona Maturo, a Dutch take on Parmesan. The main focus is on farmhouse cheeses from around the UK and Ireland, including Anster, a crumbly citrusy cheese from nearby in Anstruther. Other delights sold include a good range of bread from local bakery Barnett's featuring soda farls, sourdoughs and flavoured loaves, plus there are continental cured meats, vinegars and oils, and all the necessary accompaniments for cheese from chutneys and pickles to Arran oatcakes.
