The Cress Company
Based in Dunfermline with a staff of 15, The Cress Co currently distribute to mainland Scotland and the North of England using their own fleet of dual temperature (ambient/chilled) vehicles, and outside this area via a third party. They supply products from fine food manufacturers to a variety of customers including delis, farm shops, sandwich shops, hotels, bars, cafés and butchers. Members of the Guild of Fine Foods, they support independent manufacturers and retailers. Joe Wall started the company in 2004 with a 30sqm lock up, a second-hand van and five or six Scottish food manufacturers, and now runs it from their 1000sqm unit in Dunfermline, showcasing a diverse range of products from some of the finest food producers across Scotland, the UK and the globe. Producers on the books include Montezumas and Berry Scrumptious chocolates; Aberfeldy oatmeal; Peter's Yard crispbreads; Rannoch Smokery; Black Isle beers and Ella's Kitchen baby foods.
