Allanhill Farming Co. Farm Shop
Within walking distance of St Andrews, and affording great views of the bay, Allanhill are strawberry specialists, growing 47 hectares of soft fruit – all but two of which are mixed varieties of strawberries including Malling Centenary, Elsanta and Sonata. Their farm shop sells these alongside blueberries, gooseberries and raspberries, as well as local meat and eggs. Those fancying a snack can enjoy a light lunch in the tearoom, with al fresco options for that sun-drenched bowl of strawberries and cream. The tearoom also sells their own jam and home-baking featuring, of course, lots of berry-related creations, which the kids can burn off in the outdoor play area.
