Heather Hamilton’s seasonal salad bags are packed with up to 30 varieties of leaves, flowers and herbs grown without pesticides or herbicides on her family’s four-acre smallholding at Dalguise, including eight types of lettuce, six mustards, four kinds of mizuna, pak choi, parsley, chervil, salad burnet, endive, chicory, calendula, borage, violets, and more fresh edible plantings. Currently she delivers to people's doors every Wednesday within a 5 miles radius of Dunkeld, and you can also buy her green produce at The Scottish Deli in Dunkeld and Pitlochry, but she is doubling her polytunnels, so expect to see more of her salad bags around the Tay Valley.
