Glendoick Garden Centre
While the main draw for most might be the well-stocked plant nursery and impressive estate gardens (renowned in horticultural circles for its rhododendrons) this garden centre, set back from the A90, also boasts a small foodhall with a decent stock of local and Scottish produce. As well as foodstuffs from further afield, such as Little Doone dressings and cheese from Arran, there are plenty of treats from the surrounding area too, including fruit wines from Cairn O’ Mohr, preserves from Sarah Gray, Puddledub Pork and plenty of fruit from neighbouring farms. Fresh baking from the accompanying cafe (and dog-friendly shaded parking) make for a good excuse to linger.
