Set around a horseshoe-shaped central dining bar, its wood-panelled walls are lined with photographs of 21st-century theatrical luminaries from John Hurt to Orlando Bloom. The finest seafood includes fresh oysters from West Mersea Island, Cornwall, Northern Ireland and south-west France, along with Shetland mussels and Dublin Bay prawns or caviar and crab.
